On May 1, 2014, Daryl Hagopian of East Longmeadow MA joined the museum’s team as part-time Development Director. Daryl’s responsibilities are raising the museum’s profile and increasing fundraising in the world of manufacturing in New England and beyond.
She is eminently qualified for this role, having been involved with manufacturing and sales throughout her career. She served as Regional Director of the National Tooling and Machining Association from January 2007 through January 2012, and concurrently as Executive Director of the Connecticut Tooling and Machining Association from October 2008. During her career Daryl has served on many executive boards and committees with various manufacturing organizations further strengthening her connection to the manufacturing industry in America. A native of Springfield MA, she is a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College. “The American Precision Museum in Windsor Vermont represents ingenuity in manufacturing technology – past, present and future. I am excited to be part of the museum’s plans to inspire young people to design, innovate, and problem-solve, and to use the museum’s remarkable collections and historic property to inspire new generations of innovators.”
